According to authorities, a driver of a car struck a mother and a baby in a pram in Scarborough.
Just after 5 o’clock on Tuesday, the collision took place near the intersection of Pharmacy and Bolster avenues, south of St. Clair Avenue East.
According to Toronto paramedics, they took a 30-year-old lady and an infant who were in critical but non-life-threatening condition to a trauma centre.
It is unknown if the car’s driver stayed at the scene.
The collision’s origin is a mystery.
The area’s roads are restricted as authorities investigate.
