The evacuation came amid reports of both al-Amal and the nearby Nasser hospital being besieged, with ongoing conflicts near al-Shifa hospital in northern Gaza, where Israeli forces claim to have neutralized 170 “terrorists” and detained around 500 individuals associated with Hamas or Islamic Jihad.
The Palestinian Red Crescent detailed that as they attempted to vacate the area, they faced hostile conditions, including smoke bombs and physical barriers erected by Israeli forces, aimed at compelling hospital staff, patients, and displaced individuals to leave.
