This success was later eclipsed by “Avatar” and its sequel, “Avatar: The Way of Water,” both of which set new records under his co-production.
Landau’s sister, Tina, confirmed his death via social media, where she expressed her profound sadness and pride in his accomplishments. She described him as “the best brother a girl could ever dream of,” highlighting not only his professional but also his personal impact. His death drew tributes from across the industry, including from director James Cameron, who praised him as a great producer and human being.
